#1-Clothes for Chagim

We are aware of a number of children who do not have Yom Tov clothes, due to their financial situation from various schools in the Queens area. We send a teacher out with these students (individually) in a discreet manner to a store that is working with us.This avoids any embarrassment or discomfort to the student. BE"H this year we plan to reach more children in more schools.

#2-Food, Basic Needs for Families for the Chagim

Divrei chizuk knows of families who need help with food, utilities, and basic day-to-day needs do to illness, or are simply not making it financially to make Yom Tov.

We do this in a very quiet discreet way. Please help, and may Hashem continue to give you maleh bracha vsimcha.

Divrei chizuk has teamed up with an organization that will distribut mishloach manos and matanos levyonim here and in eretz Yisrael.

This will be done on purim day to be yotzeh the mitzvos.

#6-Chevra Mishnayos Yosef Shalom

(HaRav Rav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv zt'l)

Cheder boys in Yerushaliyim learning mishnayos on their own time for the zechus of Klal Yisrael (about 30 to 40 boys). There are boys, because of their financial diffculties, that need help. If you would like to sponsor a child the cost is $50 dollars a month, or you can make a general donation to the program, for a refuah shleima, zivug hagun, bracha vhatzlacha, parnasa, yeshua. The goal is that they finish 6 sidrei Mishna by their Bar Mitzvah and helps them continue in their learning of Mishnayos.

Rabbi to say Kaddish/Yortzeit

One of our team member in Eretz Yizrael will now say Kaddish for you. For $100 dollars a month, one of our team members in Eretz Yisrael will say Kaddish for you three times a day. Shacharis, Mincha, and at Maariv, and we will also say Kaddish an on the Yortziet of the Nfter. Mishnayos will also be learned for the Niftar.

Bchasdei Hashem we are very thrilled to announce the Divrei Chizuk evening Kolel. It is geared for Rebbiem to help them in their teaching skills with various topics they will be learning,and learning to be sensitve to the needs of each child. Once a month a chabura(gathering of rebbeim) will be given. We are also collecting for other yeshivos, for those who are learning full time. If you would like to have part of their learning and be a Yissachar Zevulin: A bussiness Partnership For Torah where you can share in the Mitzvah of Torah study.

#11-40 Days Tfilah at the Kotel -

There is a powerful Jewish spiritual technique (segula) that one who seeks an answer to his/her prayers should journey to the Western Wall in Jerusalem to pray the same prayer request every day for 40 consecutive days. The segula can also be done by donating to have a pious prayer representative pray 40 days in your place.

According to the Torah and Kabbalah, the Western Wall (Kotel) is the holiest place on earth and currently the BEST place to send your prayers because the divine presence of G-d (the Shechina) dwells there. It is exceptionally POWERFUL TO PRAY 40 days in a row at the Western Wall (Kotel), because Moses prayed 40 days consecutively on Mt. Sinai and his very difficult prayers were granted.
